The days of the old expensive analog phone systems is dead as businesses move to the flexibility of VoIP phones.

They are less expensive to buy, and with no contracts, you can flex your usage to suit your needs. If your business is seasonal, you can change your phone plan on the fly to match it to your current needs without penalties and there is no contract to extend.

How much does it cost?

The plans are simple. You just buy blocks of minutes. Calls are charged against your block of minutes at 1 cent per minute.

What happens if I go over my plan?

Simple. Anything over your plan in the US, Canada gets charged at 2 cents per minute for incoming and 3.5 cents per minute for out going calls. If you find that you go over on a regular basis, just increase your plan. You can always drop it back if your needs change.

Can I make International Calls?

Absolutely, and at a great price! For example:

United Kingdom 3 cents per minute
Germany 4.3 cents per minute
Mexico 13.5 cents per minute
South Africa 14.2 cents per minute
China 5.5 cents per minute

Calls to Cell Phones can cost a little more and to a few locations in some countries there may be a surcharge, but the costs shown are pretty typical.

How does this work?

Very simple, the phones are part of your data network and use your data connection to make calls. If you have a T1 with your phone lines integrated into your T1, you can save quite a lot of money by replacing your integrated T1 with a plain Data T1.

You disconnect your data cable from the back of your computer, printer or other network device, plug it into your phone, and then plug a data cable into your phone and plug the other end into your computer, printer or network device. No need to run additional wiring if you already have a data connection to an existing network device..

I have a DSL line for data, can I use it for my phones?

If you have a branch office or would like a phone in your home to connect back to your office network, you can use your DSL line.

It is not recommended that you use DSL at a location that has multiple phones. Not to worry though, if you have regular copper phone lines and a DSL line, we can most likely replace your copper lines with a T1 or Cable data line to give you High Speed internet access and phone service for less money than your copper lines and DSL are costing you.

How about my existing phone numbers?

You get to keep your existing numbers. You can move all of your published numbers to your new phone system

Because each of your numbers are not tied to a copper line, 1 number can receive multiple calls at the same time. There are no rollovers or multiple numbers.

What about my Toll Free numbers.

No problem. Just move them to your new system.

How about when I am not in the office?

Life could not be simpler.

If you have a SmartPhone, iPhone or Android, you can download the App from iTunes or the PlayStore. This will install a 3CX extension on your phone that can be a different extension to the office phone, or the same extension.

If it is the same extension as your Desk Phone, when a call comes in on your extension you can pick it up on your SmartPhone or your Desk Phone.

You would like the phone on your laptop? Or your Desktop Computer at home?

No problem. You can install a SoftPhone on your Laptop or your Desktop. If you install it on your Desktop, you have to have speakers and a microphone or a head set, but your Laptop comes with these built in.

This can also be a separate extension or the same extension number as your office phone. If it is the same extension as your office phone, when someone calls, your office phone, SmartPhone and Laptop/Desktop all ring at the same time allowing you to pickup the call from anywhere.

And yes, calling the office has never been simpler. Just dial the office extension you want and the call goes right to the extension you want.

Use your Laptop, Desktop or SmartPhone for making calls through your PBX system and save on Cellphone minutes, plus your Cellphone International calls drop from $1.00 per minute to Cents per minute.

Can I have an Automated Receptionist?

Of course. When a call comes in 3CX will pickup the call and give the caller a list of options to choose from. The call will then be routed accordingly making sure the Caller gets to speak to the person they want.

If you have Sales or Support Staff with multiple Extensions, you can ring all of the extensions at the same time allowing anyone to pick up the call.

What about when I am not in the Office

Just have all of your unanswered calls delivered to your cell phone, another number or voice mail.

Have your voicemail delivered directly to your email address.

What about when we are closed?

Set your office hours and holidays, record a different message and route the calls to your answering service, message box or another phone. You don't have to remeber to do this, 3CX knows what day and time it is.
